About
As long as I can remember, I have always sought to be in nature. As a child growing up in the Finger Lakes region of New York state, I preferred aimlessly wandering and finding the nooks and crannies of the outdoors where I could be alone. Now I realize that I was never really alone. I was always surrounded by nature spirits, guides, ancestors, and creator.
As an adult, I find that the forest paths amongst the pines and winding streams are the cathedral in which I prefer to worship.
I've always been an avid camper, hiker, skier, and traveler who longs to be in the woods, mountains, and near water whenever possible. I now live in Western New York state with my husband, daughters, and three dogs. We strive to spend time outdoors no matter what the weather.
Although I have always followed a path that runs with nature, it is in the past few years that I have fully adopted the practices of shamanism. Upon completion of an intensely healing 13 month shamanic apprenticeship, I was initiated into the lineage of the South Americas as was my teacher before me and hers before her, and on and on...
I have received the Munay Ki Rites (nine rites of energetic transmissions to become a person of
wisdom and healing). "Munay" meaning universal love and "Ki"meaning energy.
In 2022 I welcomed the opportunity to participate in sacred fire ceremonies of the Andes
and receive blessings from Quechua shamans of Peru.
I have taken extensive training programs, classes, and workshops to attain my certifications.
During the course of my shamanic apprenticeship I was introduced to energy medicine. The next step
of my journey led to becoming certified in traditional Reiki. Looking to deepen my healing methods I fully immersed myself by attending hands on, in person Shamanic Reiki workshops at The Omega Institute in the Catskills.
I am a Certified Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher in the Western New York area.
I've received my certifications through Shamanic Reiki Worldwide and have recently completed a year long training to become a certified Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher.
Having worked in the health and wellness industry for nearly
30 years, I would be honored to hold space for you and help
guide you on your own personal healing path.
